There are always people in our life that can offend us, it’s true.

I’m sure if you think hard enough, you’ll  know that they do.

Some people seem, to just get, ‘under our skin’ so to speak.

This is when you must ‘bite your tongue’ and not be weak.

 

It’s so easy to get caught up in a retalitary mood right then and there

To speak something you would late regret and that’s when and where,

The enemy promotes hatred and anger, then you do or say something dumb

This makes our enemy smile and chalks you up as a victory that he just won.

 

So God’s advice to all of us is keep your cool when things go wrong.

When people speak against you just know they’ve do it all along.

You are not the first or last person that they have riled up that day.

This is just the enemies trying to get you to say something you shouldn't say.

 

The Bible gives us clear instruction and advice of how to handle this mess.

It’s advice that is sometimes hard to do, I’m sure most of us would confess.

You are to love that person and speak kind words, just like Jesus would.

This takes a lot of practice, prayer and Bible study to do as we should..
