Sorry, but God won’t be available all next week for you and me.
by Dr. Anthony Murphy writerSorry, but God won’t be available all next week for you and me.
He is going on a vacation that He really deserves, I'm sure you'll agree.
It’s been a long, long time for Him and He just needs a rest.
So, we’ll all need to get along without Him, as a test.
No, He won’t answer His cell phone, He’s leaving it at home.
I can’t even tell you His destination, He just wants to roam.
Many people won’t care that He won’t be available now.
Some of us, however, won’t know what to do — or how.
We Christians depend on the Holy Spirit each and every day.
What will we do without His divine input, while He’s away?
So many of us believers depend on the wisdom and input from God.
Without Him to guide and direct our lives, it’s going to seem very odd.
Thank God this is not true, it's just a fable! It’s not really the way it is, or ever will be.
No, our Lord and Savior doesn’t take vacations, He’s always available to you and me.
But, this is something to think about and maybe help us appreciate Him more.
Our God never slumbers or sleeps and is always available to us forevermore.
