Today's poem is about run your own race.

This is what God wants you to do, and daily seek His face.

He has given you certain incredible gifts and talents for today.

These attributes can let you run and win in life, God’s way.

We are all very different, God made us that way.

So don’t get upset because of what they said about you today.

No, you are unique with a special anointing from God.

Because of this anointing to others, you’ll be deemed odd.

But if you try to please everyone and run another race.

Taking their advice that is contrary, you would lose that case

Also, you won’t be happy and, you’ll be very frustrated too

No! You must always do what the Holy Spirit directs you to do.

In life we all learn you can never please everyone, so don’t even try.

Some people will never like you, that’s true, so please don’t cry.

Just run your race knowing God is on your side to always help you.

God knows you can run this race and win if to it you’ll be true.
