The word of the day is “nevertheless”.
This is the word phrase to recite and confess.
When things may look impossible to you,
nevertheless with God's blessing, confess I can do.

People will tell you to give up, they did to me.
They told me I wasn't qualified, I must agree.
Nevertheless with God on my side I will win.
This too my friend, is also your day to begin.

Giving up is a tool that is available to all.
It can happen when each time you get up and fall.
Giving up is the easy way out and this — many do.
As a fellow child of God, I hope this isn't you.

God has an incredible plan for our lives, it's true.
The enemy will fight you in everything you do.
Nevertheless you have God and angels on your team.
If we could really comprehend what that would mean.

In the Bible, many faced an impossible feat.
Nevertheless with God, they were always able to defeat.
You and I can't lose the battle with God on our side.
Face that battle and you'll win, don't run away and hide.
