What is unconditional love to you?
It's hard to comprehend the full scope of it — it's true.
God loves us unconditionally. What does that mean?
Is it something that you've never heard of, or seen?

It is truly hard to comprehend this kind of love.
That's why God sent Jesus down from above.
To try to teach us that His love is not conditional.
That we can't earn it or lose it, like love traditional.

We all know that love is fickle and sometimes fake.
We can change our feelings when someone makes a huge mistake.
That feeling of love is conditional and fragile to us, you see.
If someones hurts us badly enough, feelings can change, most agree.

God's love is not like that, it’s agape love and hard to understand.
He loves us unconditionally and doesn't even demand
That we live our life free of sin and bad behavior.
We try but fail, thank God, Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior!
