If you have ever planted a seed, this is for you...
I recently planted some very tiny tomato seeds.
They were so tiny and yet, I knew what they'd do.
With the proper care they'll produce tomatoes, it’s true.

No, I can’t just put them in soil and leave them alone to grow.
They need loving care including water, this of course we know.
This is just like our life with God, our Father, today.
We need to study the Word, meditate, and always pray.

We need the nourishment available through His Word.
Some I’m sure, of this message they have never heard.
People need to accept Jesus as their Savior and Lord.
If they don’t get excited at church, they are probably bored.

Being a Christian can be an exciting and enjoyable life,
even when you are experiencing heartaches and strife.
Know that all things work together for our good.
And, that God is doing it for our benefit, is that understood?

At the time our struggles occur, so often we ask, "Why God, why?"
Sometimes it’s hard to understand, no matter how hard we try.
But know that God sees what is happening and cares for you.
Like the loving Father he is, always doing things with a love so true.
