I see so much confusion and hatred today

This is truly because we have lost our way.

Most are in it to see what they can get 

Things and stuff will never satisfy and yet.

It seems like the goal of many is to accumulate more and more

This is, unfortunately, how the many add up their worldly score.

A bigger home, newer car, promotion or maybe a different mate.

Don’t they know that all these things and stuff you’ll later hate.

When we try to change the rules of God’s game 

Our lives will never be satisfied or be the same 

As living our lives as God intended them to be 

Truly helping others. Being content and debt free.

So many have tried to satisfy by doing things wrong

They lie, cheat and steal. It’s even promoted in many a song

In the days when America was truly a Godly nation

Integrity thrived, people could be trusted without hesitation
