Life is like a baseball game to me.
We have different inning in life you see.
We all start at the beginning of the game
How, and where we born are not the same.

As we progress in this game of life’s innings
We all experience losing and winning.
Sometimes it seems you can’t win whatever you do
You go to the plate and strike out, was this you?

But the game isn’t over and you will try again.
Sometimes you think back and smile, remember when?
All the bases were loaded, you were behind 5 to 4
It was the ninth inning you needed to score.

So up to bat you went and uttered a prayer to God
Some of the fans heard it and thought you were odd.
But you hit that home run the crowd started to roar
Now, no matter what happened before, you are ready for more
