That when temptations comes today

This is what I will tell myself and say.

 

 I am disciplined and in self control

I thank God that I can see and hear, I'm whole.

I will seek His wisdom in everything I do

I will only speak words that are totally true.

 

I know that Satan will tempt me and you

He knows our weakness that's oh so true.

But resisting the temptations makes Satan sad

And makes Jesus my Savior happy and glad.

 

Pleasing the Lord each and everyday

Is a fantastic way to live is all I can say.

When you resisted temptations today and you will

It's good to remember sin always comes with a heavy bill.

 

And that bill can be one that could destroy

Sin is very serious it's not just a toy

That you can play with and put if away

Resist that sin, repent for past sins today
