As I read my daily devotional today in Jeremiah chapter 18
It relates to the USA where we are now and have been.
This country was founded on the word of God years ago
Now, however, has turned it’s back on God and so.

We may also experience what the Israelites experienced too
They turned their back on God and Jeremiah tells what they do.
They sacrificed babies, we do that everyday, and it’s legal here
Now without God’s blessing on this land many have reason to fear.

God doesn’t just look the other way as we continue going down hill.
Just like other countries and nations that deserted God, they paid the bill.
And that bill is more terrible than most can even conceive
Read the events in Jeremiah and prepare for what we are about to receive.

The good news is that we Christians know the final outcome of this fight
The fight between good and evil that going on now, day and night
God will be the ultimate victor and as Christians we know this is true
So in these last days before Christ’s return stay loyal, God’s counting on you
