We’ve all heard the story of David and Goliath, it’s true.

But I’m asking a question that relates to me and you?

What do you do when you face a huge giant of something today?

Do you face that giant with faith and assurance, or run away?

David was only about 15 years old, just considered a boy.

Next to that towering giant, David looked like just a little toy.

But David had something that many of us don’t have right now.

He had his faith in Almighty God that would show him how.

 

How to defeat a 9 foot plus giant that had a shield that weighed more.

More that David. I’m sure the armies were laughing and keeping score.

They didn’t think David wouldn’t  have any chance at all to win.

That’s was until David said his peace and the battle would begin.

 

You see, David didn’t come to defeat this demonic giant on his own.

No, -- he was going to defeat this giant, not with a sword or spear but just a stone.

He had already faced and defeated a lion and a bear to save his sheep.

David knew that with God on his side he could defeat this creep.

 

This is the way we should face our own giant today and in this way.

Knowing that Almighty God will pay attention to what we pray and say.

If we call on our God to help us in our desperate  time of need.

And have true faith like David to defeat your giant, that’s all you need.
