Today’s poem will make many of you angry and upset.

Some poems I really don’t want to write, and yet,

I must obey what the Lord has imparted to me.

Many, if not most, will not with this poem agree.

What is the word the Lord told me to tell.

It’s ‘denominationalism’ the Devils sell.

It has divided the Christian community for many years.

I’m sure God has grieved and wept many a tear.

Remember the Lord's prayer and what it says

“Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven.”

In heaven there will be no denominations there.

As long as you’re a true ‘born again’ Christian no one cares.

No, there won’t be a Baptist, Methodist or a Lutheran section.

Not even Pentecostal, Jewish or all the others I failed to mention.

In heaven we’ll all be together praising the Lord for all we are worth.

The way, I'm sure, the Lord wanted down
