Good morning Lord I want to commit this day to you.

I want you to be proud and happy with all I say and do.

This will be a challenge that I have never done before.

Just knowing that I commited this day and you’re keeping score.

 

How will I do the whole day through is the question of the day?.

Will I be able to keep this commitment or be led astray?

I know the enemy is going to do his best to tempt me.

But I also know that at the name of Jesus he must flee.

 

How about if I post my score on the internet for all to see?

I’m sure none us would do this, even you, I’m sure you’d agree.

But I will try my best and that’s all God asks and wants us to do.

I want to remember this commitment the whole day through.

 

This will be a very different and exciting day. How will I score?.

If I can keep from sinning all day, I’ll try to do it tomorrow, more once more.

I’m not trying to be negative, but this will be a real challenge to me.

Now that I just got out of bed and just waking up, we’ll see.
