Frustration happens to all of us in this life.

We can’t understand why all this strife?

Things were going pretty smoothly and then,

Then all this happened and that’s when,

 

I asked the Lord why did this happen to me?

I was doing just fine, most would agree.

But God did something I didn't understand why now

I know it was for my benefit but why, now and how?

 

This is something that will be for my benefit and good.

I must believe in faith even, though it's not understood.

He is my Heavenly Father and always knows what’s best.

Now will I gripe and complain, that will be another test?.

 

It’s so very hard to greet all this frustration with thanksgiving today.

Just like you, I would hope it to turn out some other way.

But I can rest in the confidence that in the end I’ll smile.

Even though this present frustration has lasted quite a while.
