It’s really nice to wake up realizing that God has given you another day to live.

Now I have the opportunity to help others, and to generously give.

There are so many in need today, they need your smile and a friendly touch

So many things we can give and do for others that really don’t cost much.

 

But the rewards will be incredible when we serve others with maybe just a smile.

So many are hurting in so many ways to experience any kindness, it’s been a while.

We can be that person of excellence that acts like the saints of old.

Our gifts of kindness and helping to many would be more precious than gold.

 

Today is a great day to put this plan into action and to see what you can do.

You’ll find out what this poem is all about will be very rewarding for you.

Helping others near and far away  is a great way to live everyday.

We all have our way of helping others in our own unique and special way.

 

In what way do you think would be the best for you, that you can start now.

Can you think of people and organizations that you can help and how.

With all the disasters that this nation and the world have experienced this year.

So many need help. They don’t know what to do or where to go and are full of fear.

They sure could use some Christmas cheer and to know that your help is near.
