Woe to the sinful nation, a people whose guilt is great.
by Dr. Anthony Murphy writerThis poem is from the book of Isaiah chapter one. Changed to rhyme
Woe to the sinful nation, a people whose guilt is great.
When we see all these progressive sins how long can Jesus wait?
Things look almost out of control, people live in constant fear.
We know that judgment is coming soon, it's very near.
Isaiah 1:7,
The country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire.
Because of your love for immorality the god of wicked desire.
Your fields are being stripped right before your eyes.
Laid to waste by strangers, the enemy you once despised.
Isaiah was very blunt and expressive as he described the future then.
He was telling the people to get it together or you will experience this and when.
He wanted them to repent and live their life as God commanded.
This wasn't a suggestion or a request, this is something he demanded.
Does this like the world today, they have, as a whole, really gone astray.
There are still many Christians that are working to keep this curse away.
But God is a good God, patient, long suffering, but there will come a day,
When all the born again Christians will be raptured and go without a delay.
