Don't worry about what people say about you.
by Chaplain Anthony Murphy Site AdminDon't worry about what people say about you.
Some people are not going to like what you say and do.
Some people are like sandpaper, to you they're always rough.
These are the ones you must love from a distance, that's enough.
When cooking I sometimes use a 'non-stick' product like Spam.
Everything slips out without sticking to my frying pan.
If we could adapt that to our lives, not letting insults stick.
It would improve our lives, however, I know that's quite a trick.
Use the wisdom of the Bible saints, for an example in your life.
They were continually harassed and had many opportunities for strife.
However, they chose to let God fight these battles for them it's true.
Now ask yourself the question, when insulted what would I do?
If we take the time to try to counter the attack, so to speak.
We will lose our focus, and our testimony will be weak.
Instead let God fight the battles for you, He always wins.
When we try to justify our actions, it can lead to sins.
