How do you handle gossip is our poem today?

When you hear some juicy gossip what do you say?

It so easy to get involved and give them a piece of your mind.

That's not God's way, he wants us to be protective and kind.

Especially when it's one of your own family or a friend.

Will you add fuel to the fire, or will you chose to defend.

We have all made mistakes in our life, what happened then?

Did people condemn you or did they choose to defend?

It's so easy to go along with the crowd and make your opinion known.

But remember God is watching these events from his heavenly throne.

It's so easy to 'cast the first stone' so to speak.

It's your choice will you be Christlike, or worldly weak?

Be a person of kindness and integrity today in ever way.

As a child of God, his ambassador, be careful with what you say.

Always protect that person, after all that could have been you.

Never add fuel to the fire, but to your family and friends always stay true.
