Being “peaceful on purpose” is our theme today.
Some can't accept this idea and would say, “No way.”
As children of God we have a different option — it's true.
God already knows the problem, and knows just what to do.
 
When that worry today and any day, tries to enter your head,
do as the Lord commands and cast your cares on Him instead.
He can do what we can't do. Frustration and worry only cause grief.
They're your enemy, robbing you of health and peace like a thief.
 
Do you really trust God? In what way, why and how?
When you have that anxious thought today, cast it on Him now.
God can handle it and doesn't want you to worry anymore.
He has a host of angels on standby, I've told you this before.
 
The Lord is our shepherd, we are like His beloved sheep.
He will always defend us — this promise He will always keep.
God is much bigger than any problem we could ever face.
So, cast your cares on Him and let Him handle your case!
