Have you talked with God today?
Many would say, “yes,” others, “no way.”
Many take God for granted — this is true.
I surely hope this poem isn't about you.

God has great things in store for His own.
I can almost see Him smiling from His throne.
He loves to hear us praising Him throughout the day.
It's so good to know that He is with us, come what may.

God is our Heavenly Father and He loves us with agape love.
That's unconditional love, available from Heaven above.
It is truly hard to comprehend how He could love you and me.
When we disappoint Him so many times, you may also agree.

Spending time with Jesus our Savior and Lord is a privilege to enjoy.
Setting time aside for Him is crucial for every adult, girl and boy.
He longs to hear from us so let's praise, pray and spend time each day.
Expect the enemy to give you something to do so he can make you delay.
Procrastination is a demonic tool, so don't play this game, okay?
