When I am tempted to do wrong today,
If I give in, there will be a price to pay.
Satan always wants you do this, saying, “it's okay.”
That's when you need to be strong and say, "NO WAY!”

You can be sure that the enemy won't give in.
Satan will come at you again and again.
He’ll wait until you are acting weak.
He continues, for Christians, to constantly seek.

If he can get you to do just a “little” wrong,
That's when he'll bring those other temptations right along.
He knows just how to play this game with you.
He is a professional at this, knowing just what to do.

God, however, wants you to stay strong as His child.
To be a true Christian, not to give in to sin and act wild.
Sin always has its consequences today and tomorrow.
A moment of sin’s pleasure can bring a lifetime of sorrow.
