I had a wonderful visit from some old friends today.
They were headed from Wisconsin to California
For their annual trip and stopped by this way.

It so good to have friends you can know and trust.
Real friends like this in life are really a must.
Although we see each other now only once a year.
They will always be in my heart, they are so dear.

Yes, Harvey and Janice were our neighbors years ago.
Together we had morning coffee, enjoying the day.
At that time in life, I thought that's where we would stay.

Alas, life has a way of changing things — we know that's true.
It is something that happens in life, I'm sure also to you.
But, someday when we Christians get to heaven — there we'll stay.
Oh that will be glorious, I'm looking forward to that day!
