So many people are living a life of condemnation today.
They think they have done so much wrong, that there is no way
That God still loves and approves of them because of their sin.
When they have that attitude, you can be sure in life they won't win.

That is not the God I serve — He loves me even though I make mistakes.
When I do something wrong I repent and ask forgiveness, that's all it takes.
The enemy will remind me of the sin I did, he does it every day.
But, I must remember that God forgave and forgot it when I went astray.

As a child of God's family, I was adopted and that cannot be undone.
How did that happen? I accepted Jesus as my Savior, He’s God's only son.
Once in the family of God, I will not be unadopted when I make a mistake.
If you've been told that you could be — that religion is fake.

When my son James was young and sold my prized clock many years ago,
I didn't cast him out of the family, he was and is still, a Murphy this we know.
Yes! You are a child of God and he sees you as the apple of his eye — it's true.
God loves you and won't disown or unadopt you, no matter what you do!
