Who or what is in control of your life today?
Who or what controls what you do and say?
Many have problems with a bad habit, it's true,
That habit rules your life and tells you what to do.

That habit could be smoking, drinking or drugs.
May be it's pornography, or some hidden secret sin.
Ask yourself this question, “What is it and when did it begin?”
If we continue with this ungodly habit, we won't win.

Your habit is something you hope people don't know.
But, realize sooner or later the results will always show.
Some habits are readily seen, like smoking, this you can't hide.
Even in terrible weather, to smoke they will venture outside.

But, a secret sin or habit is sometimes only known to God.
You think if people know about it, you would be considered odd.
Sexual immorality was once hidden in a closet, as we know.
Not now, they flaunt it, and with their pride put on a show.

God is watching all this and knows what's going on.
He is recording everything and it won't be long,
Until all of us stand in front of the Lord our Master.
Was our life pleasing to God or was it a disaster?
