Did you ever feel that you've made that mistake again?
That what you did then was so bad — you still remember when.
Some of us have made more mistakes than we can count.
Seems like all those sins did continually mount.

But, realize that we all have sinned in God's sight.
However, He will always forgive us when we want to do right.
The things we have done in the past, were forgiven at the cross.
If we ask for forgiveness and repent, we are not at a loss.

Now, we can rejoice that the sin slate was wiped clean.
That we can live our life with joy, this is what I mean!
We are no longer under the threat of condemnation now.
God forgave us and forgot our sins and mistakes, that's how.

We can always begin again in this life, it's true — thank God.
To many, this confession will sound wrong, maybe even odd.
They think that God is mean and cruel, but that’s not true.
He love us with agape love, no matter what we did or do!
