Happy Father’s Day to our one and only God today.
How many times do we thank our heavenly Father when we pray?
How many take Him for granted, and maybe even ignore.
He is the one that will always love you, and adore.

You are the “apple of his eye” so to speak.
He will be with you wherever you are, every day of the week.
Not just on the days when you are in church, it's true.
Yes, He is with you, protecting and blessing you in all you do.

So many times we forget about Him in our daily life.
That's when we try to handle our own problems and strife.
But, I can see God now just sadly shaking His head.
Saying to us, please pray and ask Me to help you instead.

So, today let's show our appreciation to our God above.
He longs to hear from us, and wants to share His love.
If we could only comprehend His love for us today,
the sacrifices He made, and the price He had to pay.
