I went fishing last night, but didn't get a bite.
I tried all that I knew, but didn't get it right.

I tried minnows and worms, they always catch a fish.

But, even then, my dreams turned into a wish.

After an hour or so, I reeled up my rods, shaking my head,

this isn't what I planned. I wanted fish, but instead

I went home with an empty creel, and wondered why.

It seemed everything failed no matter what I would try.

Sometimes life is like that, we try to get that fish.

That fish could be anything we desire or that we wish.

No matter how hard we try, no matter what we do,

we don't always catch that fish, I'm sure it happens also to you.

But know this… God has a better plan for you so don't despair!

He knows what you want and need, and we are in His care.

Some of the things we hoped and prayed for, were not in His plan.

His plan is always the best for every girl, boy, woman and man.
