When I see all the trouble in the world
I ask the Lord, “What can I do?”
We all know that this world is upside down,
and things are degenerating rapidly — it's true.

I remind myself that God is still in control,
that things are tumultuous because of sin.
As a Christian we have an assignment
to pray and witness, and this is the day to begin.

We know that Jesus is coming very soon.
Every day, there is an escalation of sin now.
You only need to watch the news to verify this.
So, I asked the Lord, “What can I do and how?”

Jesus told me to do what the Bible teaches today,
and help others struggling along life's way
to do what I can every day, and to God be true.
Then watch and see what only God can do!
