What's the Weather Going to Do Today?
by Chaplain Anthony Murphy Site AdminWhat's the weather going to do today?
Many times we listen to what the weatherman has to say.
Sometimes, even usually, their predictions are true.
Thus, directing us where to go, and what to do.
If I want to go fishing, I need to know how to plan.
I have gone unprepared before, that's when I began
to slate my fishing trips according to the weather.
Although, not in the wintertime, no not me, never, never.
The weather predictions are correct most of the time.
Yet, I listen to someone who's always correct — a friend of mine?
He not only tells it like it is, but also how it will be.
I'm not referring to the weather, but life — for you and me.
He made the weather, and it is under His control.
He came to earth to help mankind, and can save your soul!
Who am I talking about? Jesus Christ, the only son of God.
Today, as an outspoken Christian, I am considered odd.
But people need to know, that there is something that's always true.
That God and His angels are with you, no matter what you do.
He loves us with an affection, that is hard to understand for me.
And, His love for us will last, throughout eternity.
