Let's remember the real reason.
The real reason for this season
is the birth of Jesus, born on Christmas day.
It really doesn't matter what the others say.
 
Christmas Day is a day we celebrate His birth.
This was actually one of the greatest days, here on earth.
Just to think that Jesus left His heavenly home,
gave up His life in Heaven and even left His throne.
 
Why did He do this for you and for me?
To teach us how to live with Him for all eternity.
His life here on earth was only thirty-three years,
and, was full of forgiveness, pain, tragedy and tears.

When we consider the awful price He paid for us,
dying on the cross in pain and agony without a fuss.
For me and you He gave His life voluntarily
to fulfill a 600+ year old Bible prophecy.
