God Has a Work for You to Do

God has a work for you to do.
Yes! I am writing this especially for you.
Over the years He has heard many an excuse.
Some have even tried and failed, then said, "What’s the use?"

Some say that they are just too young or too old.
Some say, "I’m not a people person" or, "I’m not that bold."
But, to do the will of God is a privilege, it’s true.
And know that God will help you, in whatever you need to do.

I know from experience, this is true for me.
Now I’m writing poems for Him, for all the world to see.
There are a few readers that are older than I.
So, my advice is to seek God’s will and give it a try.

Expect that you may get opposition from family or friends too.
Most people don‘t know of your talent and what you can do.
But God has assigned each of us a special task to complete.
A task that is very special and all the qualifications you meet!
