How long has it been since you talked with the Lord?

This is the question of the day. 

Some people recite only what they are told to say.

This really is only a religious exercise

While Jesus was on earth, this was something he despised.

Prayer is just communicating with God our father.

He said in the Bible  that he would rather 

Hear some genuine prayers that show that you really care.

Than just reciting something in church while you are there.

As a Christian we know the Lord is our closest friend.

And as your best friend we talk and try not to offend.

Don’t treat him as your silent friend throughout the day

You really don’t need to practice what to say.

Just know that he is with you all day and all night.

To Him and your guardian angel, you’re never out of site.

He craves your communication genuine and true.

So today talk to him as a friend the whole day through
