Some folks today treat The Golden Rule,

As something used by a religious fool.

Others use it wrongly as a devils tool

By changing the wording to make it cool.

However, the true Golden rule is the always best.

For thousands of years it has passed every test.

So many people are into being selfish today.

They think that only pleasing themselves is the way.

When you do things for others it makes God glad.

I’m sure not doing for others in need could make God sad

It’s a really a good feeling to know you helped another.

In Christ we are all in the family like sister and brother.

Sometimes it even takes a sacrifice to give something away

God see’s your sacrifice and you will be repaid someday.

God keeps score and we know we can’t out give God
