Satan can look at many reading this poem and smile
He knows he’s had control of you for quite a while
He know just what and when to do his dirty deed
He knows just what to do to fill that worldly need.

In all of us we have desires, needs and want love
Sometimes however, we don’t go to our God above.
Instead we look at what looks good to us right now
That’s when Satan comes with his temptation, that’s how.

It starts with just a look, a thought and that plants a seed
This seed if not eliminated will grow into a nasty weed.
We know when a weed is young it’s easier to pull it out
But give it time that seed will grow stronger without a doubt.

So listen to the Holy Spirit He will guide you everyday
When you need guidance from the Lord always pray.
Jesus wants you to always do right, it’s for your own good
He knows what happens when you go wrong, that's understood.
