We have heard the phase “Once saved always saved” Is this true?
by Dr. Anthony Murphy writerWe have heard the phase “Once saved always saved” Is this true?
Here’s a question. To loose my salvation ‘What sin would I need to do?
So many live under this misunderstood belief
Let the truth of the Bible give you some blessed relief.
We all have sinned and come short of God’s perfection.
Some now claim that there is a certain sin selection
That one sin is OK but others sins are not
They decided to judge what is OK and what is not.
So does this mean that Jesus died on Calvary’s tree
For only selected and certain sins to set us free?
Or does it mean He knew us and always loved us anyway
And that his death was for all our sins yesterday, and today?
Before we were born Jesus knew you and me
He knew what He was getting and most will agree
That we are not perfect in everything we say and do
But God sees us through Jesus now, this is true.
So that If we confess our sins He is faithful to forgive
when I sin I ask for His forgiveness is how I choose to live
Knowing I will sin and so will you today and tomorrow
But my Salvation is guaranteed, It’s nothing I just borrow.
To loose my Salvation I must renounce God as my Savior
This is something purposely you tell God, It’s not about your misbehavior
Living our lives always worried about did I do the unpardonable sin
If you have been living like that. Stop it and this is the day to begin.
