This is the day the Lord has made I choose to be glad
Yes, the choice is yours to be happy or sad.
God wants you happy, joyful and enjoying life.
Satan, however, wants you full of misery and strife

It seems an easy choice to make
However, many only look at their problems, big mistake.
We all have challenges that can have us all upset
You have more than one right now, I’ll bet.

But today look at the blessings that God has given you
The old song “Count your blessings” is so very true
If you have eyes to see and ears to hear then you do
If you don’t know who to thank, I’ll tell you who.

He is the God that created you and everybody you know
Yes, and He will be with you today in every place you go.
So, today, just turn you troubles and burdens over to Him
Then back off and don’t try to help Him. Now the blessings begin
