I've made so many foolish mistakes in my life

That resulted in the loss of my family and incredible wife.

Now that I am suffering the consequences of the sins

If only I could undo the past and start again.

 

That is one of the reasons I write these poems each day

I now try to live my life as I should, the Bible way.

Oh sure I still make a lot of mistakes this I know

But I am constantly trying to improve my life so

 

So when I stand in front of the Lord on that day

I won’t need to dread what He will say

My sins were forgiven and erased from His book

Repentance and forgiveness is what it took.

 

This can also happen to any and all that repent

Unfortunately, I didn't learn this lesson until my life was spent.

So if you are in an adulterous affair or other wrongdoing

Take advice from the Bible and stop now what you are doing.

 

God can and will forgive you if you repent and change your ways

Do it now, you never know how many more days

That the Lord will allow you to live or He will return to earth

So live your life for Christ today and tomorrow for all your worth
