In our younger days many of us were such a fool
Actually I now realize we were a Devils tool.
He used that tool to destroy many a family then
It started a long time ago I really don’t know when.

If only we knew then the consequences of our actions
I am sure it would now a very different reaction
Seems like some of us need to learn about life the hard way
Sometimes things cannot be changed no matter what we say.

So take some advice from a senior man that been there
Your body belongs only to your wife, it’s not yours to share
I was young and foolish and I guess I just didn’t care
So please be faithful and know that God is always aware.

He see’s you in action everyday and knows how you live
Sometimes the only alternative is the correction He will give.
That correction is done in love to hopefully help you see the light
Being the true, loving faithful husband will stop many a fight.
