As I see this nation in a rapid decline

I’m wondering what will happen to your children and mine.

The Mexican border is almost a joke stopping only a few

And many in Washington won’t help or don’t know what to do.

 

As I see people carrying on their lives oblivious to the events today

It’s just about over for us as we were,  is all I can say

America is no longer the America that it was when I was young

And unfortunately, and it’s not over, the worst is yet to come

 

I almost think it’s too late for us to turn back now.

Only God can help us now and intervene, that’s how.

We have listened to so many lies and believed 

Yes, America, we have been professionally deceived..

 

The news is really not news as it used to be

It is now censored and really all we see

Is what is allowed to distract and make us think all is OK

To many of us older and wiser, this is a very sad day.
