Death is not the end of your life as many think
Instead it’s the beginning of a brand new life
That can start in an instant, as fast a a wink.

Just like the Boy scout motto I want you prepared
So when you stand in front of God on that day
Your life will be judged , how do you think you faired?

Did you have a life that was pleasing to God, or not
I’m not talking about the sins you’ve confessed
And repented of. Will you be glad, ashamed or what?

It’s going to happen to everyone reading this poem
Just know we are all just traveling thru this world
We are aliens here, this world is not our final home.
