So many people, it seems are always sad and blue
If they only knew they were loved by me and you
We all have the opportunity to help those in need
It’s a mandate from God that we’d better heed.

Satan is always looking for folks he can lead astray
He’s so good at his job, he does this night and day.
The folks that fall for his lies and deception
Could be anyone needing love without exception.

So as a child of the living God we must be ready now
To help in anyway we can, the bible teaches us how.
Give a cup of cold water, a meal or even  the shirt of your back.
By giving to the needy God  promises you will never lack

You can show true love to these folks with what you do

You can be sure your reward will be in heaven waiting for you
Jesus loves them so as his ambassador we should too
Do it today tomorrow and all your life through
