I'm sitting here all alone

My wife is now in a nursing home

I sure get so very lonely now

But I can still rejoice, how?

 

Knowing that I am really not alone

And not to cry, get upset or moan 

That I am surrounded by angels 24/7

And that we will meet again someday in heaven

 

It's so reassuring to know that this isn't the end

this is just the beginning, then relationships will re-mend

Then we can look forward to an everlasting incredible life

Where we can spend it in heaven with our husband or wife.

 

So while you are still here on earth

Love your mate for all you're worth

Be sure you both accepted Jesus as your Lord

And let both Jesus and your mate know they are adored.
