Somedays the stress seems overwhelming to me

I'm sure there are thousands of you will also agree.

It seems that there is much more pressure and stress

When I was much younger things were not such a mess.

 

Thank God I have the Lord as my friend that really cares

and He cares about all my problems and affairs

My guardian angel is sometimes overworked I'm sure

Otherwise this hectic life would be hard to endure.

 

Seems like bad news comes in bunches sometimes to all

I can always depend on His help when on His name I call

Rely on the Lord when troubles arise

He will not be angry or your call despise.

 

He's a friend that is closer than a brother'

He'll show you more love and understanding than a mother.

He is our heavenly father and He loves us in spite of our sin

He's always ready to forgive us and let us start anew again.
