that created anger, bitterness and strife

I hurt a lot of people even in my family too

I hope this hasn't happened also to you

 

It grieves me now that I am growing old

That my friends and family treat me cold

I deserve what they think of me that's true

I only hope that they can forgive me

before my life on earth is thru

 

This life can be filled with happiness and joy

If we lead the life my mom and the bible taught me as a boy

Jesus is the answer now I know it's true

He forgave me totally and gave me a life anew

 

I'm still paying for my sins with my family and friends

I'm asking for their forgiveness so we can make amends

I hope and pray that I will get that email or call

Telling me that I forgive you, you are my friend or dad after all.
It happened, thank God,  and I am so glad That was one of the happiest days I've had Now we can once again be family and friends I want to do the right thing now until my life ends.
