As I watched an old man looking at old photo's and cry

As I watched an old man looking at old photo's and cry
I thought of my own life and let out a sigh
I was wondering what the Lord thought of my life
Some of the memories I'd like to cut out with a knife.
Thank God when I repented and asked Him to forgive me
All those sins and old memories were nailed on the old rugged tree
Satan always try to remind us of all our past sins
Jesus erased them all never to be remembered again
Every day is a new day to start your life again, anew
If you are a child of God you know this is true
Your sins were forgiven and you have a clean slate
If you haven't ask Jesus to be your savior don't wait
Time is winding down for all of us, most of us can hardly wait
Until the time comes for our departure and go through the heavenly gate.
To enter heaven and finally feel like that we are now at home
And our life here on earth is over and I'll no longer write a poem.
