Now that the weather is getting cold

I seem to notice it more since I'm getting old

Of course I notice the high temperatures in summer too

But, where I'm going when my life on earth is through

Is heaven where the weather is perfect Jesus, just like you

 

I wonder what we will wear up there. Does anybody know?

If they do please tell me. I'd like to know before i go

I know God dresses the flower so I know I will also look great

Sometimes I really long for heaven, but yet I'm willing to wait.

 

My time on earth is not over until the Lord calls me home.

I know everything I have I will give up, after all it's only on loan

That's why I treat everything with respect. Everything belongs to the Lord

I have learned to be generous and give things away and not hoard.

 

Our live on earth is temporary and we are only here for a few years

I want my life to count for good and not leave this earth in sorrow and tears

When we stand before the throne of God and He opens the great book

I wanted to be greeted like a friend of God and not some crook
